Ping have shallowed the face of the G410 compared to the G400 to help golfers hit higher on the face, which equates to higher launch in order to reach what Ping call ‘peak distance potential’.A high-density tungsten weight at the extreme perimeter of the head increases stability and forgiveness. The face is made of C300 maraging steel, known to be one of the strongest alloys in the world, and is machined extremely thin to produce more flexing for increasing ball speeds, shot height and distance.
